Discovery Gateway Field Trip!

We had a blast at Discovery Gateway! It was such a fun field trip and I think everyone enjoyed it. Thank you to all the parents who came to help. Here are some fun pictures from the day!

The Beginning of the Countdown!

We have started our Alphabet Countdown! I can't believe the year is almost over! We are having so much fun. For the letter "B" we celebrated all things books. We dressed up as our favorite character from a book. (sorry we got so busy in the afternoon we forgot to take a picture).

The letter "D" was for Despicable Me. We wrote "a minion reasons why we love kindergarten". Didn't they just turn out so cute?!

Baby Chicks!

We absolutely loved hatching baby chicks in our class. It was so exciting to see them hatch and then be able to hear them chirp and watch them grow. They loved getting a chance to hold them and we were super sad when we had to let them go to a new home. It was such a fun experience!

Field Trip to the Zoo!

We have been learning about bears this month and learned about brown, black, polar and panda bears. After a lot of studying we were so excited to be able to go to the zoo and actually see some real bears! We had a fantastic time and loved our first field trip. Even just riding the bus was a pretty fun experience. Thank you so much to all those parents who helped! 

Beach Party!

We had such a fun beach day. If only we could actually go to the beach! We played with water, counted ocean animals, made snow cones and did some fun art projects. These kids have worked so hard they have definitely earned a fun day under our fake paper sun. I sure hope they all had as much fun as I did.
